The Tax Indaba was launched in 2011 thanks to the successful collaboration of local tax professional bodies in South Africa. The event hosts around 1 800 delegates who look forward to the 50+ tax topics that are covered over 5 days.
In 2018, each day of Tax Indaba week was appointed a general theme that represents the multi-faceted nature of tax.
Themes covered include: International tax, corporate tax, indirect taxes and levies, investments and estates, payroll and employee-related compliance. The daily dual-stream programme ensures that there is something for everyone, from large international firms to small tax practitioners.
